This is a very well made movie, but it is a slow burn. It is not scary, per se, but it is very creepy and disturbing. There is not a lot if dialogue, and a lot of the movie's message is conveyed through symbolism that requires your attention. There are a couple of head scratching moments that, while still being on message, are still odd in their placement.
