Chris Cabin Slant Magazine The Brink will likely appeal to college and high school kids who just got their first taste of Chomsky and Zinn. Rated: 1/4 Jun 21, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The clear talent in this film shines through with the female leads. The story line is interesting, and the film is nicely done. Heather Ashley Chase and Rachel Balzer have a nice dynamic with their characters. There are only a few real 'scary' scenes, but overall the effects of this film are really great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Features bad acting with worse writing. Contains an idiotic and nosensical premise and z-grade production values. More than halfway through the 70-minute movie, however, it kind of started being funny in an it's-that-bad way. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The review and description made it sound like a good movie. It was not. The story was just confusing, the actual movie itself was poor, and the quality of the production was crap. I would not waste my time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Monty Wall is the working man's Clint Eastwood. His performance is riveting. Brilliant. He totally banged ALL the hot supporting actresses FOR SURE. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting idea hobbled by lack of a budget and acting experience, The Brink goes off the edge from the start and never recovers. It revolves initially around Thomas Edison's tepaphone, a device for communicating with the dead that he considered building but never did. In The Brink, Edison did it and it worked... too well. Flash forward 70 years; a promising, orphaned, incredibly irritable engineering student tracks down Edison's schematics. She and her friends succeed, building the machine in a creepy abandoned house wherein the members if a family have killed each other, save for one baby girl. If you haven't guessed the "twist" ending yet, maybe we need a tepaphone to talk to you! Once the machine has been built, The Brink is a very conventional ghost story, well-summarized as "From Beyond" meets "White Noise." The Brink is amateurish and contains a few moments that will certainly inspire eye-rolling. It does manage one or two effective scares, but they're not enough to make the flick at all memorable. It's also quite short, clocking in at 67 minutes sans credits. Harmless and might appeal to novice horror fans who can overlook the really awful acting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This film is a joke, casting is poor, script are a joke, reminded me of a High School Drama Club Video, looks like they spent a dime or two on special effects 1 star Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
