      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Its crude brand of political satire isn't quite as smart or sharp as one might hope in an election year, but The Campaign manages to generate a sufficient number of laughs thanks to its well-matched leads.

Starring former Saturday Night Live cast member John William Ferrell and co-star of "Daddy's Home 2," John Lithgow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member It's got a couple of good laughs. To enjoy the movie, one has to come in a humorous mood, expecting quirky and bizzare jokes, and taking the plot with a grain of salt. The good jokes mainly have to do with the quips about the reality of politics in the US. The last line of the movie really summarizes it all, and the way they ended with it was probably the highlight of the movie.
