Lee Strobel was an atheist. A thriving legal editor at The Chicago Tribune, he set out to investigate the resurrection of Jesus. His confident disbelief was turned on its head. His findings? Faith. Decades later, Strobel continues his investigations as he builds The Case for Miracles and asks: Do miracles still happen today? From awe-inspiring wonders to God's silence in times of suffering, this documentary takes audiences on a remarkable journey. Through stories of people who claim have experienced the impossible, and experts who cross-examine the evidence, the film challenges skeptics, inspires seekers, and shows that the search for answers can transform us. Follow Lee Strobel and director Mani Sandoval on a cinematic journey into the miraculous.

Sarah 5d Heard about this release on a podcast interview. I saw the show with the group - we had all seen the Case for Christ movie previously and were looking forward to this. We werent really expecting it to be a documentary, but that is OK. But it really was a long travel log with a couple of miracle stories, and we all agreed we were disappointed. It did deliver what it promised, though, because it detailed several significant miracles, and it was good to learn about that. But we felt like it was shallow overall. See more John 5d The documentary movie "The Case for Miracles" is a beautifully produced film. The cinematography is excellent and the music is impressive. I'm not sure, though, that the content is going to accomplish what writer Lee Strobel and director Mani Sandoval are hoping. The film is basically a driving tour of Route 66 in Arizona with affable fellows Strobel and Sandoval discussing anecdotal instances of healing that science cannot explain. The problem is that we all either know personally or have heard stories of people with dire -- even terminal -- health challenges who have suddenly recovered even though doctors can't account for the amazing turnarounds. There's nothing new here. If people who have heard stories like this haven't already admitted that God performs miracles of healing, I doubt that this film will plant the seed of faith in them. Still, "The Case for Miracles" is a visual and auditory delight and a pleasant way to spend an hour and a half. See more Kendra R 5d Great movie and stories.
