This twisty thriller...is what might happen if Quentin Tarantino, with a bit of an assist from John Woo, Park Chan-wook's "Old Boy" and the spirit of Alfred Hitchcock, had directed an episode of "Succession." Go to Full Review

Park Hoon-jung's new film is an example of what action should be like in Southeast Asian cinema, and Kim Seon-ho, one of the protagonists, offers a wicked spectacle with each choreography. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Some plot holes do appear throughout the movie, but as a whole, "The Childe" definitely makes sense, while its second part provides a very entertaining return to the Golden Age of Korean action thrillers. Go to Full Review

ActionLovingGal 07/05/2023 This movie is a fun & action-packed watch! Definitely one of Director/Screenwriter Park Hoon Jung’s lighter action films. The story could’ve had more depth to it in my opinion but worth-watching for Kim Seonho’s portrayal of a stylish and cocky assassin also armed with dry humor. This movie also has good potential for a pre/sequel! See more michael 07/04/2023 Slow start then got interesting. Funny. Worth the ticket. See more Mar 07/04/2023 Seonho did amazing in the movie! Highly recommend the movie! See more Manue Yane 07/02/2023 Intense and mysterious, with enough action to compliment its inching reveal. With characters from an unseen perspective and world that makes it a fresh weird view. See more Andrew G 07/02/2023 Perfect amount of seriousness and comedy and over the top moments. Main actor delivered as always. Definitely would recommend. See more Norm V. 07/01/2023 Action packed but trying too hard to be funny. See more Read all reviews
