While apartment hunting, Pierre Esteban (Gérard Lanvin) -- an overwhelmed, part-time father of two -- meets beautiful real estate agent Jeanne Lancry (Karin Viard), a divorcée raising two daughters. Sparks fly between the pair, but when it comes time to meet each others' families, chaos ensues. Esteban and Lancry struggle to build a new life together in spite of the resistance of their four children, who band together in hopes of sabotaging their parents' nascent romance.
