Audience Member The movie just wasn't that scary. The plot was clever and it had the perfect setting for a horror film, but it just never really found its footing. I did not see the film in 3D, so some its obvious 3D scenes no doubt lost some of their effect. The Pang Brothers manage to create some truly creepy and visionary imagery, but the film often feels stale and unengaging in between these memorable moments.
