Bernard Drew Gannett News Service The strange thing about The Christmas Tree is that if you can overlook the essential cheapness of using such a theme as a patently easy and exploitable way of eliciting sympathy... Audience Member I loved it, I saw it years ago and it is one of my favorite Christmas movies Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw this movie when I was eight, so perhaps I was a little more affected than I would be if I saw it now. But, I've never forgotten it, especially the final scene; still gives me little chills. I think the original title was better than that under which it was rereleased as reported above ("When Wolves Cry..."). I'll check back if it isn't as good the second time around...
