Steve D Takes a while to get going but solid once it does. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/24 Full Review SICKS6SIX A very very British film.A who done it with some fine over acting. Trevor Howard and Jean symons star in a cast of British cinema A2Z guide. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/10/22 Full Review marya b If Jean Simmons had stayed in Great Britain, she might have played more roles worthy of her innate talent. Later in life, she was riveting in the excellent December Flower, a 1984 English film for television, featuring the equally excellent Mona Washbourne. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The Lolita Factor (Older Father-Figure Male) Pursuing Hapless Naive Girl In Distress Plays Alongside A Lacklustre Fugitive-Chase Story. Much Of It Dry & Vaguely Exciting..James Bond This Definitely Ain't!! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Somewhat Hitchcockian British thriller with fairly predictable ending. Not bad though. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The Clouded Yellow starts off really slow. But then picks up when there is a murder. Trevor Howard was well cast in his role as Somers and played his part really well as a good strong character. But I wasn't quite sure about Jean Simmons who seems to be quite emotionless throughout most of the film. That aside there are many twists and turns in the film and a great ending, which does thrill the viewer!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Virginia Graham The Spectator This film is a moderately good murder mystery puffed into a certain importance by the presence of that ever-admirable actor Mr. Trevor Howard and by the simple attractions of Miss Jean Simmons. Jun 20, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
