Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Despite some attempts to liven up this routine action movie, the result is stuck in mindless mediocrity, lazy short cuts, awkward performances, and inferior, incomprehensible fight footage. Rated: 2/5 Aug 5, 2023 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue The climactic comeuppance in this low-budget action saga is reasonably intense, but getting there is more tedious than thrilling. Aug 5, 2023 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review This one is bad, but it does seem like a perfect example of how not to make an action movie and waste the talents of good actors. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 4, 2023 Full Review Travis Hopson Punch Drunk Critics Grim, dull, and way too serious, the film creaks from one poorly-executed setpiece to the next, wasting a ton of talent that deserve far better than this. JD D This movie is hands down one of the worst things I've ever seen. Don Johnson has proved that he is not an accomplished actor but an overrated pin-up boy for 70-something women. The action scenes were amateurish, looking more like a bunch of 13-year-old boys jumping around playing WWF. The more embarrassing scene is when the thugs broke into the house by going through an exterior door that was clearly made of balsa wood. If this was supposed to be a parody of an action movie, mission accomplished. But, I think the producers felt that this was actually a seriously good movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/25 Full Review David V This movie has good actors but it was painful to watch. It's like we're back in the 70's with the studios cranking out cheap movies. Who in Hollywood thought this movie was good? The scenes are cheap, the fights were fake, the script was horrible. Straight up B movie with good actors. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/16/25 Full Review Giorgio G Though I somehow like Don Johnson, he has never been in anything but B-Movies and this one here is surely one of the worst he ever borrowed his name to. The fighting is cheap and ridiculous, the consequential scenes are absurd, the action is idiotic. One can watch the whole thing in 15 minutes, skipping most of the crap, and still having lost 15 minutes of one's life. 1/10 points! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/01/25 Full Review Ron G It's annoying that a group of movie makers did such a terrible job making this trite and stupid movie. They must have put actual effort into ignoring all facets of good cinema in order to make something so trite. This is the quality one might expect when the cast sits around a big table and reads through their parts for the first time. After that nothing was done to make this stupid script into a passable movie. Wow. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Kirk R It had all the ingredients to make the most amazing movie but it just kept hitting the mark. I really wanted it to be great but I fell short. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/25 Full Review John J I went in with high hopes because the cast looked OK and the plot had some potential. Don't fall for it. The acting is horrible, special effects are laughable, and there are too many plot holes to count. As an example, a guy has a frag grenade go off in his shirt and he walks out on fire. Christ on a bike! And let's not forget 'pistol puppets'. Good googly moogly!! In summary: life is finite, your time is valuable. Go watch a rerun of Supertrain instead.
