I grew up watching the original movie. I still love it to this day. This one however, was awful. I really didn't care about any of the characters. The story with the stepdad made no sense...in fact the entire story really didn't make much sense. I think it was an absolutely awful movie. It felt like watching some made for tv Disney movie that they slapped filmed a quick cameo ending for, and then slapped "The Craft" into the title so they could actually get movie sales.

Passable teen angst drama, lacked in character development which led to a rather underwhelming finally which seemed to rely more on "fighting the patriachy" rather than actually creating a real villain. Real problems with pacing throughout.

This was absolutely horrible, I've seen indie films with a better plot than this shit show. Though the inclusion of minority groups and queer characters was a great idea, the execution was terrible.Watching it felt like they were a diversity tool rather than actual characters, it didn't feel organic. Not to mention the whole plot was all over the place! [SPOILERS AHEAD!] What was the fucking point of Timmy being Bisexual and the whole hookup thing with Isaiah? Adam being a warlock? Where'd he come from? Why was he there? The movie just fucking sucks.
