ERIC S It puts me in the mindset of The Matrix meets The Golden Child. I just so happen to love both movies. Anyone who loves sci fi should see this---plenty of thrills through out the film. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review Christopher T It was a movie with interesting ideas that were not fully developed, and good performances were overshadowed by overly predictable tropes that, in the end, made it mostly forgettable. Not a bad movie, but somewhat disappointing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review Paul T FLAWLESS MOVIE!! 🔥🔥🔥 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/15/23 Full Review Jason really good movie they should have probably did better with pacing though Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Maurice The movie felt long and John the actor seems to only play himself. I wish both sides were gray instead of the movie portraying the machines as the good guys. I will say the little girl was a good actress in this. I had an issue with one of the robots acting too human like smoking. The cgi was good though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Devon S Spectacular sci-fi. Gareth Edwards will a legend in this genre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Claudia Puig FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I liked aspects of it, mostly the visuals... It's just too bad the story was derivative and seemed to crib from so many other sci-fi epics. Oct 21, 2023 Full Review Chris Hewitt Minneapolis Star Tribune The main question about "The Creator" is: How has a movie this good and this big arrived in theaters with so little fanfare? Rated: 3.5/4 Oct 6, 2023 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald Writer-director Gareth Edwards and his collaborator, Chris Weitz, have crafted a script which tries so hard to cover all the ethical dilemmas posed by the rise of artificial intelligence that I’m not sure what it’s meant to be saying. Rated: 3/5 Oct 5, 2023 Full Review Sarah Ksiazek The MacGuffin It says something about the film industry when just having an original story is enough to get people in seats, let alone with the resumé of Gareth Edwards and Chris Weitz to back it up. Rated: A- Feb 10, 2024 Full Review Charlotte Harrison Charlotte Sometimes Goes to the Movies Few films in 2023 were in possession of world-building as good as this... Jan 26, 2024 Full Review Pete Vonder Haar Houston Press Edwards also wisely keeps events moving swiftly enough that we can't really linger on how little meat there really is on this story's bones. The Creator runs a shade over two hours, which is maybe one action set piece too far Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 25, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews
