The movie's length is good for a horror film; however, the good jump scares were scarce, and there were too many boring exchanges between the characters that reduced the heightened thrill of the movie.With the creepy Humpty, I expected many jumpscare scenes with slow camera views to increase the suspense, like in the Separation movie released in 2021, which I highly recommend for thriller fans, but it is not adapted for individuals who are easily scared during bedtime or for those suffering from physical or mental deficiencies. If you watched Child Play, Shutter Island, or The Others (2001), you might like this. However I felt Childs play was much more entertaining. Don't expect much but pay attention to the storyline.I'm not a fan of low budget horror flicks or movies that talk-talk-talk .You gotta pay attention to the dialogue it will keep you slightly interested and this goes back to simple and short, if this was a 2 hour film this definitely would have lost my interested. I was bored though and just continued watching it as Im always one who completes what I start. Mostly needless family melodrama from very unlikable characters. Very offensive at to the elderly with mental illness. The evil doll looks nothing like Humpty Dumpty who is an egg person not an egg head. Plus Annabelle moves more than this guy. SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING THEN STOP READING: I say it's offensive to the elderly mentally illness as it demonizes mental health issues as the doll didn't come to life but mom killed everyone and imagined the doll coming to life or not. As one of the girl sees the doll move, so I don't know. Either mom was crazy or the doll won. Either way, sucky movie. See more 01/31/2022 Mark and Mila's Movie Reviews - The curse of humpty dumpty Who the f**k is Scott Jeffery as he needs to explain himself! This movie feels like it was created by high school students. Plot wise alone this movie feels like a parody, If you're looking for a decent horror then I would most definitely avoid this. However if you're looking for a comedy then this might be the movie for you. Throughout watching this movie brief moments were needed to stop and review the poor cinematography, Terrible acting skills (minus Wendy) and just genuinely the doll it's self. - The movie it's self - . The start felt like it was ripped off from good horror movies. . Scariest part was not the doll but shopkeeper instead. . Lackluster and 0 jump scares - The movie was flat from start to finish and had no points to make the audience feel scared.
