Bobby LePire Film Threat The Curse Of Wolf Mountain is a decent slasher that horror hounds will eat right up. Rated: 7.5/10 May 24, 2023 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X The final results are very uneven. Rated: C May 15, 2023 Full Review Vicky Lawrence Starburst The Curse of Wolf Mountain felt like an oversaturated slasher, which wanted to throw in all of the tropes instead of picking and choosing specific aspects and moulding them into this film. Rated: 2/5 May 9, 2023 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT Ultimately, the film is a seriously flawed thriller. The editing is choppy and things go on for longer than needed. The Curse of Wolf Mountain is fine background filler, but never quite connects. May 9, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Furry M The movie is too dark, more than half the time you can't see what is going on in the screen, I know is supposedly night time but can you have at least simulated the moonlight, I stop watching it half way. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/23 Full Review Vineeta The very first scene had me screaming "OMG Jigsaw!" and that guy acted the hell out of it too. Totally stole the show. Really wish there were more of those intense therapy sessions. Every beat held my full attention. A bit formulaic, predictable, and campy, yes, but if you love 90s slashers, there's a real sense of nostalgia here. And its impressive how far the filmmakers were able to stretch the limited budget. It made me smile how the "night scene" were just low brightness day shoots. Clever move. Wish the two endings were just a single ending though. At Wolf mountain. And the villain was more scary and menacing instead of such a chill dude. Matt Rife was absolutely hilarious. The perfect slasher himbo. And the two funny rangers? Wish they could just go off and be funny and chaotic instead of being held back by their boss. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Craig B This movie is a really fresh take on the slasher/horror genera. I enjoyed it a lot. The acting is solid from every cast member. The main character AJ (Price) brings a believable sense of intensity and emotional gravitas to the role. The story has good pacing, and the various plot turns make the Curse worth a second viewing. Though the story wraps up neatly in the finale, I could see them building upon the themes presented here in a sequel. It reminded me a bit of the first Friday the 13th or Scream, in that it's a fantastic stand-alone story, but could certainly set up a franchise. Would recommend to any slasher fan looking for something new. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/23 Full Review Walter P Not even Danny Trejo was able to save this movie.
