Imagino que el guionista-director tiene Seul Contra Tous dentro sus favoritas. Desafortunadamente esta no cuenta con la misma contextualizaciÃ³n, desarrollo o humor. Poner un final violento a esto cuento sin trama da mero melodrama. Tomas parecen hechas solamente para no ser normal â" dejar todo fuera del carro desenfocado por concentrar en un rosario colgado del retrovisor, o alinear un poste entre el actor y la cÃ¡mara para esconderle mientras fuma â" y entonces lucen simplemente pretenciosos. Lo mejor es el desempeÃ±o de Julio ChÃ¡vez, quien transmite un rencor bullendo detrÃ¡s de una fachada de responsabilidad.

La historia del hombre que siempre estÃ¡ en segundo plano. Es muy interesante cÃ³mo los planos y la profundidad de campo sugieren cÃ³mo el custodio aparece o desaparece para los demÃ¡s. Buenas actuaciones.

SLIFF (http://www.cinemastlouis.org/fest) film showing Ruben who is a bodyguard for a high-profile politician. The audience sees everything from his point of view, his perspective of waiting to follow and protect a man who not only has no respect for him but no care and often uses Ruben for his own amusement. Every aspect of his life is a series of mundane routines and he only watches but never speaks. When a man has no identity what will he do to get it back?
