Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times O'Rowe... evokes both a theatrical and literary sense of narrative, with scenes effectively unfolding like well-honed chapters. Nov 8, 2018 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times Mark O'Rowe will undoubtedly direct a brilliant piece of cinema someday. The Delinquent Season is not it. Rated: 2/5 May 2, 2018 Full Review Sura Wood Bay Area Reporter Volatile and a tad short in the love-and-understanding department, Scott becomes one of the wronged parties in the movie's equation... Jun 17, 2020 Full Review Alex Heeney Seventh Row [Cillian] Murphy is fascinating as a well-meaning man who is regularly a jerk, and the film slowly excavates his psychology; Murphy is especially still in this, as other people orbit around him and push his life in various directions. Feb 29, 2020 Full Review Irene Falvey Film Ireland Magazine [Delinquent Season] acutely highlights the fragile nature of modern relationships through extremely human and engaging characters. May 25, 2018 Full Review Chris Wasser The Herald (Ireland) The whole darn thing is overwritten. Everyone is on autopilot. Everyone can do better. Nobody - especially a sleepy [Cillian] Murphy - is aware of just how bad a film they're dealing with. Rated: 1/5 Apr 30, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Andreas M A deep dive into love, sexuality, betrayal, death, and human emotions. Highly recommend it. It gets better with each viewing Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/31/24 Full Review Kim T Well acted, great character development, great dialogue and so much truth to the tale. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review Paula T I just watched this movie it seems I can't stop thinking about it. I truly think that Jim loved Yvonne she told him to go away and he did now she wants him back what did she think he was going to put his life on hold . I truly think that Orla loves him I don't know if he loves her I just want him to be happy. His life was a mess for a long time now Yvonne know's the pain that Jim felt what goes around comes around. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/24 Full Review This review is a spoiler. I find Cillian Murphy to be quite a beautiful man and am a great fan. I cried at the end of this movie. I feel this is a sad and cautionary tale of infidelity. It is easy to be aroused and led astray in the moment, particularly by a manipulative person who feels they have nothing to lose but much to gain. Marriage and children are very special. Married people need to take care of their special relationship. I don't think that Cillian's character Jim was unhappy or looking for a sexual relationship. Yvonne just threw herself at Cillian/Jim. Jim was weak and did not back off like Chris did when he was in a similar situation. Yvonne messed up Jim and threw him off track. He paid a high price. I was glad Jim rejected Yvonne in the end as she was manipulative. There are lots of movies about infidelity. I felt this movie was real. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/29/23 Full Review Yani A Nah, i cant accept the ending. Poor Jim Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/27/23 Full Review Audience Member It took me more than one viewing to appreciate the movie. Jim is a complex character, not so much the other ones. It's worth a watch. Great acting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
