Northern Ireland, 1960: Father Thomas Riley and Father John Thornton are dispatched by the Vatican to investigate reports of a miracle, a statue of the Virgin Mary weeping blood, at a remote Catholic asylum for immoral women. Armed with 16mm film cameras to record their findings, the priests instead discover a depraved horror show of sadistic nuns, satanism and demonic possession. Supernatural forces are at work here, but they are not the doing of God.

Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Aislinn Clarke's confident and sinister debut...[is] more concerned with her three principal characters and their twisting moral ambiguities than it is in unleashing a bunch of nonsensical cheap scares. Rated: 3/4 Jul 19, 2018 Full Review Fionnuala Halligan Screen International Two strong leads, the doubting priest Lalor Roddy and the Nurse Ratchet-like Mother Superior played with gusto by Helena Bereen, help distinguish this Exorcist update and mark Clarke as a talent to watch. Jason W I love the way this is shot and presented. The framing and look is amazing and very much takes you into the 60s vibe. The acting was great. The bad...some of the cuts during longer segments are quite noticeable as well as some of the camera framing is way too perfect for an amateur Priest camera man to have set up on the fly. My one major gripe with this film, as with most "found footage" style movies, is the score over top of the scenes. If it were true found footage, there would be zero musical strings swelling to a loud climax to enhance scares. Otherwise it is a great film and very well done. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/19/25 Full Review Tyler B This one’s a stand out for the horror genres, “lost footage”style. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/15/25 Full Review Callum M Great movie for those from Ireland, this holds lots of potential to old “wives tails” told around the island of Ireland. Would struggle in other demographics but as an Irish man i really rnjoyed this!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/12/24 Full Review prawnda s here's a note for the writers/director: if the best dialogue you can come up with is someone shouting another person's name over and over again, perhaps you should go back to your day job. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review Darren B Like a found footage hammer house of horror! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
