Northern Ireland, 1960: Father Thomas Riley and Father John Thornton are dispatched by the Vatican to investigate reports of a miracle, a statue of the Virgin Mary weeping blood, at a remote Catholic asylum for immoral women. Armed with 16mm film cameras to record their findings, the priests instead discover a depraved horror show of sadistic nuns, satanism and demonic possession. Supernatural forces are at work here, but they are not the doing of God.

Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Aislinn Clarke's confident and sinister debut...[is] more concerned with her three principal characters and their twisting moral ambiguities than it is in unleashing a bunch of nonsensical cheap scares. Rated: 3/4 Jul 19, 2018 Full Review Fionnuala Halligan Screen International Two strong leads, the doubting priest Lalor Roddy and the Nurse Ratchet-like Mother Superior played with gusto by Helena Bereen, help distinguish this Exorcist update and mark Clarke as a talent to watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/12/24 Full Review prawnda s here's a note for the writers/director: if the best dialogue you can come up with is someone shouting another person's name over and over again, perhaps you should go back to your day job. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review Darren B Like a found footage hammer house of horror! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/15/23 Full Review Andrew H Easily one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. More people should see this movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/23 Full Review Luke S Really strong story buoyed up by amazing performances all round. Could have done with an extra half hr or so to flesh out some of the finer points, but well worth a watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/10/22 Full Review Brandon W This movie had some great potential to be outstanding and extremely scary, however the way the found footage was shot ruined part of it. There is the classic "light on, light off" that happens way to much and becomes a crutch as the movie goes on. The ending is fun but it's not as satisfying as I would have hoped.
