Did I mention TERRIBLE?! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member If you love films like Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist then Out of the Shadows is the film for you. Out of the Shadows deals with the isolation and paranoia associated with child birth. It follows the story of a young couple moving into their new home as they are expecting their first child. She begins to have increasingly intense psychotic episodes leading her to believe her child's life is in danger. Her mental stability and relationship with her husband begin to strain as these worsen. The tension is raised throughout the whole film due to a well done buildup of ambient noise that immerses the audience within the mother's dreadful circumstances.
