Richard W 6d Just a low quality b horror film ,i couldnt make it through it because of the bad dialogue ,the dogs looked pretty scary though ....if you like b horror you might like this See more Dave S Nov 10 It’s hard to get into a horror movie when the lead character looks like Rodrick from the Wimpy Kid franchise, but that’s what we’re dealing with here. The Dogs does its best to combine the horrifically dysfunctional family genre with your standard ghost story and does manage to create a couple of moments of suspense and dread, but more often than not comes across as a dueling genres sort of thing, which is a problem. Equally problematic is the fact that it has the production values of your standard Hallmark movie, which is somewhat forgivable considering what must have been an insanely low budget. So many things feel wasted here – the creepy cornfield, the rundown farmhouse, and a ghost that seems friendlier than Casper, among others. It’s a decent enough effort, but just doesn’t work. It was a different kind of horror movie. Even though it had some jump scares, it was more about the story and the family dynamic. All in all, a very good movie. See more Lori B Sep 13 I watched 3 movies this weekend. The Home, Hallow Road and the Dogs, and they were all good but I have to say this was my favorite. Good acting, a good story, and a very understandable ending.....held my interest the whole time See more Keith T Sep 1 I'm wonderful that the long story. Why did the boy suddenly go to the attic? What happened? Yes. They cannot tell you about the boy. When the boy turned ghost after he died. Unexplainable why ghost talk to him. But excellent mystery. But don't be boring . I give five stars 5/5 See more Read all reviews
