In a day and age where "stealthing" can be considered a form of criminal sexual assault, it's odd to see a movie turn the act of poking holes in a condom or using a man as free insemination for laughs. Go to Full Review

Characters and subplots come and go seemingly at random, and writer-director Thom Harp has no sense of what's potentially funny about any of them. Go to Full Review

There are some very nice moments which are well thought out and some laugh out loud characters. However, in the end Jaclyn doesn’t really feel like a character who’s learned anything. Go to Full Review

In trying to inject a serious discussion about sex and parenthood it feels disjointed and ultimately too soft for the rule-breaking comedy it so clearly wants to be. Go to Full Review

Contemporary parenting suffers a setback in this thinly sketched comedy. Go to Full Review

Brittany W 08/08/2024 Horrible movie. I need my time back I spent watching this nonsense. Quite disgusting as well. I mean the skeezer had the same dress on for every man she was with. 🤢 See more Brian B 03/22/2024 Can't believe I sat through the whole thing. I should've stared at static instead. See more Marian H 02/12/2024 Funny relatable, actors looked like they enjoyed making the film. I'd love to see a sequel. Sometimes you just need something lite See more John B @Bennjerry41 08/11/2023 Bad premise, bad writing, bad acting. See more Kevin Christ C 08/11/2023 This is by far the most garbage movie I've ever seen in my entire life. See more Jami L 08/01/2023 This is a really good cast mixed up in a problematic premise. Malin Akerman plays Jaclyn, a beautiful woman in her late 30s or early 40s who decides she wants to be a mom but is single and can't afford IVF. She's surrounded by a strong supporting cast including Jerry O'Connell, Jeff Torres, Bria Henderson, Erinn Hayes, Rob Corddry, and Dan Ahdoot. They're all strong comedic actors but the plot revolves around Jaclyn having unprotected sex with a few single men in the hopes of getting pregnant. Thankfully other characters do call her out for this being a terrible idea, but the film still plays it for laughs. There's also a side gag about one character drugging another character against their consent that was no bueno. Better options of consent could have been worked into both the main story and the side one and it still would have been funny. I've been a fan of Akerman, O'connell, and Corddry for years and it's great to see them all play together here. Torres, more of a new-comer, delivers a lot of laughs as a hunky influencer and one of Akerman's conquests. There's a lot of sex-positivity here about how women should be able to sleep with who they want, when they want and not be shamed for it. I just don't think it quite delivers as well as it could when it relies on tricking others with broken condoms and the like. See more Read all reviews
