Brad P Despite its silly premise, The Drone was one of the most fun and memorable possessed object horror movies you're ever likely to see. It absolutely deserves to fly into your home video collection. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Let's be real, you can't take this movie really seriously. I won't write a long review because the movie isn't supposed to be taken seriously, it's just pure dumb. I'm sure that the people who worked on the film just had fun making this. Anyway, if you are bored and want to watch something easy that is made just ridiculous, this is right for you. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Totally rediculous. Good as a B grade movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a joke, stop taking it so seriously. It's 500% more of a comedy than a horror movie, and it's rather decent if you look at it that way. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The very worst movie I have ever seen! Don't waste your life watching. Please! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Dont waste your time with this movie. Looseplot and bad acting galore. Brent McKnight The Last Thing I See "The Drone" is a throwback slice of bonkers techno-paranoia horror. It places a piece of modern technology in a nostalgic framework and has a total blast with its premise. Rated: B Jun 30, 2020 Full Review Joey Keogh Wicked Horror The Drone builds and builds and builds to a truly wacky climax. Rated: 8/10 Sep 30, 2019 Full Review Anton Bitel SciFiNow Typically horror films close with a hint that the evil may not quite have been vanquished, leaving the door open to any number of sequels. Hilariously, Rubin's film achieves this effect merely by ending as it began: with yet another drone shot. Aug 24, 2019 Full Review Chuck Foster Film Threat If you're looking for lavish cinematography or a deep message, you won't find it here. The Drone is just silly entertainment with some fun kills. It doesn't ask to be taken seriously; it just wants us to smile. We need more of these. Rated: 7/10 Feb 4, 2019 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film If there's a serious point being made about voyeurism and the lack of privacy in contemporary society, it's lost because of the failure of one victim after another to obey one of the first rules of the horror film: just close the damn curtains.
