Audience Member Excellent documentary about the devastation of globalization to culture, ecology and human connection to nature and others, and how localization is the only way to start setting things right in all ways that matter. The earlier film, Ancient Futures: Learning from Ladakh, also released by the International Society of Ecology and Culture and also written by Helena Norberg-Hodge, is an excellent companion piece to this film, showing how the modern economics of globalization can destroy an ancient, self-sustaining culture like Ladakh's, and by extension, all others.
