I loved double Tildas, it could be 4 Tildas and I wouldn't mind, but what ruined for me a little bit was that the first half hour the old Tilda had a grasp voice and after that she had normal Tilda's voice lol well, I love me some Tilda any day s2

Sobrevalorada. Leo las críticas y no puedo creer que el final les parezca inesperado, si ya desde ver que ambas mujeres son interpretadas por la misma actriz y que no aparecen en el mismo cuadro hasta el final indica lo que estamos viendo. En verdad esperaba una explicación al final sobre el hotel como un lugar de cierre o algo, pero se queda a medias. Media estrella por la actuación de Tilda y de Louis.

The Eternal Daughter's twist ending isn't fresh enough to greatly enhance its musings on grief and relationships, but for those who can sit through a long, often unfocused narrative, the rewarding emotional impact may be well worth the wait.

This could have been a great movie. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is eerie and the cinematography and colour palette are outstanding. But sitting through 80 minutes of incredibly slow burn will only ensure that the final reveal will find you drained of energy and any interest. It's a smart and wannabe emotional reveal, but by the time you get there, you won't be feeling much. Sorry, good intentions, bad execution.

Does great acting make a great movie? idk. Tilda Swinton was once again fantastic in a dual role but the movie itself was snooze fest. I am sure a lot of this went over my head, but what was the purpose of Bill? How was he able to talk to the Mom in the one scene in the sitting room? Or was he talking to the daughter who thought she was the Mom? It seemed plain to me that the daughter was hallucinating(?) or communing with a spirit so that doesnt make sense she thought she was the Mom. Anyways, good acting, great cinematography, boring plot
