S J The acting is somewhat uneven but I really like the story even though it's also uneven in some parts of the movie. Most of all the visuals are stunning and I would give the movie 5 starts if I only rated that. Every sci-fi and adventure movie fan should feel quite entertained for the most parts though and I can only recommend to watch it and I don't understand they apparently aren't making a part 2 anyway when you think about the last 2 Marvel movies they made instead which weren't great. The cast of characters is great, as well as, the acting talent in the film. Although the 3rd act does fall a little flat in comparison to the earlier portions of the film I do feel that the ending was handled very well and set up future projects down the line. It feels so random, out of place from the MCU, and forced down the watchers throat. I had a hard time following “The Eternals” and I say that as a huge Marvel fan that would argue many of their projects are creative and engaging. However I’m appalled by the concept of “The Eternals” being considered a Marvel movie. While some of the parts of this movie, were okay and ideally not the worst script, I’d still choose so many other movies to recommend my friends before even considering this one.
