Becky K This is a bad movie. The acting is terrible and looks like a school play! Don't waste your time!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review Audience Member I did not know what to expect reading some of the reviews. I went in with an open mind and I was pleasantly surprised. The fact that it was inspired by true events made me curious. I was looking to be entertained and I was. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member "The Evil Down the Street" is a great indie horror film without blood and gore. The suspense builds from the characters, who are a very "ordinary family" bunch. The photography was good; some of the perspective shots were very well-done, and the entire film breathes a normal home atmosphere--no trick lighting, etc. "Daylight horror" done well is always going to be worth watching, and this film does it extremely well for a small production. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Not scary at all and very bad ending Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Garbage, poor acting Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member I like the picture quality and even at times good camera work, with what they had to work with they could have made a decent movie but its not enough to save this movie from the slow paced of disappointment it serves. The acting was horrible, the dialogue was cringy, the movie is awfully slow paced, filled with plot holes, really bad audio you can hear the mic cut when and actors finishes talking and filled with scenes that are not scary just awkward for both audience and actors in scene. I'd say the people behind the making of this movie should consider this a lesson how to approach there new movie by reading reviews such as mine and learning from there mistakes.
