Synopsis
Canadian filmmaker Kevin McMahon surveys the intersection of commerce and natural majesty found at Niagara Falls, one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. Through a series of carefully assembled images and footage, McMahon examines mankind's perception of the falls throughout history -- from Native Americans' reverence of it as a sublime force, to the European explorers' fear of it as a terrifying aberration, to modern man's harnessing of it for electric power.
