Leslie Felperin Guardian A sparky if a smidge predictable feature debut for writer-director William Stone, fronted by a mix of fresh and familiar onscreen faces. Rated: 3/5 Nov 22, 2022 Full Review Terry Staunton Radio Times William Stone's debut feature is an expanded remake of his award-winning student short, and the lengthier running time allows for more fleshed-out characters and sharp observations of folk on the fringes, who walk a tightrope between right and wrong. Rated: 3/5 Aug 24, 2023 Full Review Thomas White Battle Royale With Cheese The Fence is feel good fun. An easy watch with some genuinely funny moments, even though you can see a lot of the jokes coming from a mile off. Nov 21, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Sam B Watched on account of the 96% rating but I guess this film wasn’t for me. It felt like It wanted to be a Guy Ritchie for young boys. I found the writing poor and the storyline laughably bad. The ‘comedy’ was cringey and the characters were all dislikeable. The 80s music and visuals were cool but that’s all I can really say in favour of it. Don’t let me put you off watching it though as many people here seem to have liked it! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/24/24 Full Review Jessica B loved it!!! i hope your making another one! Funny, Action, Serious, Gory! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/11/24 Full Review Charles S I loved this film. The music, story and acting were all amazing. The 80s nostalgia is spot on. Highly recommend it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Dick N The short film they made before this made me really want a full length one and this was just as good! Only minor issues i had was the abrupt ending and i did prefer William in the short over Eugene, Not because he ain't great but because he feels to nice somehow. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/23 Full Review Trevor C Good Film, I really enjoyed it, David Perkins was excellent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review emelie a Really good down to earth, funny and beautifully directed 80's movie set in Bristol.. Has the choreography of Billy Elliot, the humour of Full Monty and the sleekness of Lock Stock with a bit of old school Grange Hill thrown in there for good measure. Will Stone the Director definitely has his own unique style. Looking forward to seeing what else he does Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
