If the worst effect of A Field Guide to Evil is that it encourages viewers to study up on creeps and scares of the world, that's a sacrifice worth making.

An anthology of multi-cultural and multi-language horror short movies, mostly focused on folklore and pagan myths. Every story is unpredictable, weird and sometimes gruesome. However, there is a discrepancy in the quality of the different stories.

Way above average for a horror compilation. Beautifully shot, well written stories from 8 different mythos. A lot of it is pantomime so you have to pay attention. This is not a slasher horror relying on loud noises in place of content. All different writers and directors with native casts.
