PJ M We just started watching old Science Fiction movies from the 50's on. There are SO MANY on the Streaming Channels. We really liked this Sci-Fi Film THE FLIGHT THAT DISAPPEARED. It had the feel of a Twilight Zone Episode with a moral quandary. The special effects were pretty great considering this was 62 years ago. We got a kick out of some of the things happening on the plane. It had a Huge aisle with everyone smoking and a lounge in the back. It had to be one giant Propeller Plane ! If you are looking for an oldie but goodie, this is for you. 1 hour and 11 min of entertainment. I wish I knew if was a big hit back then! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/30/23 Full Review John X A fantastically thrilling exploration into the realm of uncertain flight sorta stuff. It does feature the head turning Bernadette Hale who seems to have disappeared after this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/13/23 Full Review Tom L A great piece of 1961 film making, telling a story that has a strong moral. This is as timely today 60 years later as it was when it was made, maybe more so. We have progressed so little in the past 60 years. The music, featuring Theremins has a perfect scifi feel. The acting is thoroughly competent. This is like one of the best Twilight Zone episodes you never saw. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/25/22 Full Review Kevin B Barely comprehensible plot with 13 extra-dimensional kidnappers all dressed alike to signify alien nature. Question mark! Wooden acting and overacting. I wonder if Ed Wood or Roger Coreman were involved. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/21/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
