Synopsis
In the village of Bastro in India, young Muria native boy Chendru lives with his hunter cousin Genjo and his wife, Riga. When a leopard strays from the jungles too near the village, Chendru takes up his bow and arrow, recalling that his father was killed by a leopard. Fearful of bringing bad luck to the village should it be the same animal that attacked his father, Chendru decides not to act. However, after the leopard returns, the boy takes matters into his own hands -- with tragic results.
