The Foreigner could've used less of Brosnan's bombast, frankly, and more of the mysterious Mr. Quan, but this dark-edged little razor blade of a film is ultimately a satisfying comeback for Chan. More, please.

Martin Campbell directed this twisty, bracing political thriller, giving Chan room to display his dramatic ability and letting Brosnan flesh out a vigorous, complex character who's surrounded by frenemies with secrets of their own.

A great actions thriller, very cool fight scenes and enough twists to keep you intrigued. Plus, I really liked seeing Jackie Chan still fighting strong in his 60s.

Jackie Chan like you've never seen before. Pierce Brosnan in one of his most robust and demanding roles ever. Both excel in character. Campbell directed this to a tee. Compelling, action filled, intrigue and gritty intensity. Great cinematography and very good interpretation of original writing. Whole cast truly convincing in character, with Chan stepping up a notch to very real dramatic acting, great to see him in this role. Very entertaining and riveting
