Audience Member Boring, preachy pap. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the most powerful films i've seen in a long time, and with a storyline that is far from what one might expect. Beautifully shot, and although slow in a few places, never fails to kep to gripped. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a particularly good film. Really well put together with an interesting and moving plot. I thoroughly recommend this film to those who appreciate true love. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A noble attempt to tell the story of a Congolese refugee, Joe Yumba, (wonderfully acted by Eroq Ebouaney) living in Dublin who must retrieve his son, being held hostage, from a gang of violent Irish thugs. Along the way we learn the truth about Joe Yumba and the horrible circumstances that brought him and his so called family to Dublin. The elements of a great story are there but the pacing falls flat without any build up. It is probably the first movie to use Viagra as a torture tool! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautifully acted by all, especially Eroq Ebouaney and Fata N?Diaye. Good character development. It is a bit slow in sections but overall it is a satisifying film. Good location shooting, nicely edited.
