Charlie M This is "Spielberg" level story telling! I hadn't heard of this director before, James Khanlarian, but he is amazing. You literally get lost in this wonderful story of the life of a young fisherman. The location and atmosphere of Maine is magical, beautifully captured and portrayed. The story is both dark and brooding and yet emotionally really poignant. It's just wonderful film making. I gave it 5 stars, I would have given it a 10! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/21/24 Full Review kelly h sorrow movie with spectacular cast and scenery. the main characters draw you in with their authenticity, but watching them deal with guilt, responsibilities, and ultimately giving into temptation, is like watching a train wreck -- sad, but worth the watch! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/21/24 Full Review AJ T I wasn’t sure what I was getting into, but I’m so glad I did! The script is great, the performances are authentic and amazing, and the audience is truly transported into this dynamic and thrilling and heartwarming/heart wrenching life of lobstermen in Maine and the community and all that involves. The directing and cinematography is also really well done, nothing seems to have gone unnoticed. So much TLC in this film, and seeing actors I already knew but in roles I’ve never seen them in before. Always an amazing feat when that can be pulled off seamlessly. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Diane S Get ready! This film will grab you from the first scene with the gorgeous cinematography and exceptional performances. The story is riveting, so block off some time & prepare to be wowed Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Paul B This film captivates you from the very start. Zak Steiner and Greer Grammer are at the heart and heartbreak of it with the rest of the cast bringing powerful authenticity to it as well. Shooting it in Maine is the only way to do justice to the story and you can feel the salt air through the excellent cinematography. Highly recommended! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review Jon D Great movie - beautiful cinematography, great acting all around, especially from Zak Steiner.
