Robert R I visited Normandy in the spring of 2022 and this movie has added to that experience. I was not aware of the special connection the French have for Americans and this film brings clarity to that unique relationship. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/10/24 Full Review Kyle S Watched on my flight back from visiting Normandy. The story of that battle is not completely without the unique perspective of this documentary. Very well done and often emotionally moving. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/04/24 Full Review Gail G Thank you for a wonderful film that brought tears to my eyes but made me proud to be an an American. A must-see for all generations. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/13/24 Full Review Peyton R Such an incredible film! It's heart-warming, at times gut-wrenching, and definitely well worth the watch throughout. The way the film goes into the lives and voices of the French to understand their gratitude is truly inspiring. I've watched it three times now and each time it somehow makes me cry even more! But I am consistently glad I am watching it and pick up on new details each watch. Highly recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/27/24 Full Review Jennifer N This is such a beautiful film! Even my husband's eyes were not dry after seeing this. It is historical, moving and such a gem. MUST SEE! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review Christian T Seeing what freedom truly means to a previously occupied people is eye-opening. I learned so much by listening to the French point of view. It's amazing that the Normans can be so grateful for their freedom despite all the pain and loss they experienced at the hands of their liberators. A truely important film for the times in which we are living. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/16/24 Full Review Read all reviews
