Audience Member What garbage! It feels like they took a rejected Twilight Zone script and tried to stretch it out into a boring movie. The beginning poses an interesting question. The middle stretches on forever. Then the movie just stops. It's like they forgot to write an ending. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I must say after reading that this first time director/producer made this film on a $2500 camera, my respect was raised way up! This film is a bit thin but with a budget of around 50k you have to admire all they accomplished on such a lean budget. This movie is a Christian themed film but steers clear of most of the tropes that are standard with these types of films. It doesn't try to hard "sell" the viewer on religion or the existence of God but rather it presents the question in a more philosophical way. This film has more to do with the advent of A.I. that could be self aware than it does with the question of what/who created us. The acting is a bit stiff but not too bad though you could make a drinking game out of how many times the female lead says the word, "philosophy" and be quite loaded 30 minutes in. The plot twist are pretty sound and the ending was not predictable at all. The viewer comes away with some food for thought but without feeling preached at. I came away with more questions about my place in the world than questions about what might have created it.
