A Middle-aged man's sad, wet dream. A self indulgent fantasy so unrealistic it was laughable at every turn. Some of the lowest budget production values I've witnessed since leaving film school.

Overall, given the leading cast and concept, I was fairly baffled by the end of this film. While the core of the plot held my investment and curiosity, the film has many issues. Some of these include generally finding the leading characters unlikeable, failed attempted jokes and sexual references that feel unnecessary. This plot is downright quirky, odd, and bizarre. I'm confident there's an audience out there who will admire such creativity and quirkiness. Still, sadly this film didn't quite work for me, and I found it both uninteresting and forgettable.

This movie tries to excuse its own self-aggrandizing with the occasional spurt of scatological humor. It isn't clever; it isn't brilliant philosophical revelations through high art; it's dull and nonsensical wind-baggery posturing as such. Disappointingly, it isn't even funny; it's just gross. The movie makers are concerned only with pompously self-pleasuring at the audience's expense. The actors work themselves into a froth, but it's never clear why. At least it looks good.

While the script has a tendency to bog down in dense philosophy and uneven plot points, a tetchy sense of humour keeps things feeling fresh. And the picturesque settings help as well.
