Roxana Hadadi AWFJ.org The Great Alaskan Race wants to educate viewers about an impossible story and the heroes who made it real, but its filmmaking choices keep it thoroughly hollow. Feb 25, 2020 Full Review Rex Reed Observer Not a perfect film, but breathtaking enough to linger in the memory. Rated: 3/4 Oct 28, 2019 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety Unfortunately, it turns out that very least is still too much to ask for from this handsome but hokey drama, which barely seems to notice its canine players amid a focus on one-dimensional humans. Oct 25, 2019 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com A family friendly, faith inspired tale of man vs. nature and belief in the impossible. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 26, 2020 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media Intense but uneven historical drama showcases teamwork. Rated: 2/5 Oct 25, 2019 Full Review Sean P. Means The Movie Cricket Too often, "The Great Alaskan Race" is as much a slog as anything the sled dogs have to navigate. Rated: 2/4 Oct 24, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

M S The story was inaccurate, but loved watching the dogs. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/19 Full Review Lisa I enjoyed this heart-warming, family friendly, adventure tale based on a true story. I left the theater feeling uplifted and (if at all possible) I loved my dogs a little more. This movie probably won't win tons of awards but it was sweet and the scenery was beautiful. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/03/19 Full Review Susan B Great piece of history. Liked the fact that it had a happy ending and no dogs died during the long trek. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/03/19 Full Review Teresa We liked the true story. It happened a long time ago but relevant today. What those mushers did to save that town was amazing! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/01/19 Full Review Janet H Great movie based on true story. Unbelievable how much will & determination these people & dogs demonstrated in the face of peril. Very interesting & informative. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/31/19 Full Review marc A great showing of American history. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/19 Full Review Read all reviews
