It’s an ambitious shotgun marriage of too many ideas that end up seeming underdeveloped and rushed within a conventional feature runtime. Go to Full Review

The suggestion is that emotional responses to this relooping drama can be somehow calibrated. It feels like an apologia, complete with cut-and-paste disaster imagery, for algorithmic entertainment. Go to Full Review

C N @RT72751533 19h Well, this movie is all over the place. Pick a genre. I stopped watching 3/4 in, it was just too badly done. The first half flood part anyway, is an interesting idea. Effects are good. Unfortunately, The script is so unbelievably laughably bad, it’s hard to watch. Like I’m not kidding, this feels like it was written by a child. I had to fast forward through sections just to stay semi interested. Anyway, it’s watchable if only because the concept is interesting. …Until half way anyway. Then the movie just turns into a giant mess of hot garbage. If not for the interesting concept and visuals I would say this would be one of the worst movies I’ve seen this yr. But the concept and visuals make is barely watchable (as long as you fast forward the boring idiotic scenes). See more Lol N @RT97000902 1d I loved this movie a lot, but it might be because of my gaming focused brain. I say that because the movie basically forces you to try and understand what it's showing you. There's no narrator or character to explain what is happening. You have to be putting your full attention into the movie, especially if you want to notice the smaller Easter eggs hidden along the movie ( Spoiler: the mom's shirt changes numbers as the movie goes on, and I only notices this by my third watch) . And because the movie doesn't try to stop and explain things. The many twist along the movie hit quite hard (At least for me, and another small spoiler here), I truly did not expect the ending the mother and the son got, especially for how they made it seem like everything had been resolved albeit the resolve was a almost peaceful death if I remember correctly. In simpler words, the movie is worth a watch if you are ready to maybe not understand it that much. See more Par H @Parhwy Jun 15 The Great Flood (2025) is a 108-minute-long Korean action film I saw on Netflix in June 2026. IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW BEFORE WATCHING: STOP. Watch it raw, like I did: Just a title, an image, a description I ignored, and a "watch" button on the screen. It is a striking measure of a film that it made me, a 55-year-old guy, cry twice. Twice. That’s not something I can recall having happened in my lifetime. And yet, I am not sure I fully understand this film. I have watched the final ten minutes twice and I’m still puzzled. Not in a "I was scammed" way, more in a "I was awed yet I don’t fully know why" way. A film can be three things and evolve by tiers?! I should have twigged sooner because the camera at one KNEW where a character was going to go (*taps head gif*). Rewatch? Yes, and soon. Recommend? Absolutely. 9/10. I rarely explain my rating however in this case, it’s about the thinkings and feelings in my viewing experience as much as the film itself.
