With a ponytail and dodgy accent, Damon fits awkwardly into the mix, putting in one of the most uneven performances of his career. The fact a Western actor is leading an Asian film should be uncomfortable, but in a film this bad, its hard to care.

Ok so I am a little biased, but this movie came out when I was like 8 or something and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. After rewatching it, I can confirm it’s not the best piece of cinema ever but the visuals are undeniably dope. And it’s really well choreographed. Watch if you want cool visuals with epic large scale fights with even larger budgets

I'm not sure why this movie has been getting so much hate. Very enjoyable film with great visuals and action from start to finish. Didn't need "romance" to work. There is something special about Chinese filmmaking and I've grown to like their films. Currently available free on Amazon prime as well. Give this a shot you won't regret it.

I don’t care what all the other reviewers are saying, I love this movie. Visually it was stunning. I love the action and the cinematography is beautiful. It was exciting to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a reminder to me that I should not look at reviews before watching a movie. I would not have watched this movie if I had read the reviews first.
