Would that we all could be guilty of "selling hope" as Jake accuses Sister Kathy, even as he opens himself to buying the hope she and her sisters are selling. Go to Full Review

Jennifer R @filmmakerJR 5d This film is equal parts touching and funny. Right from the start, I was rooting for Jake (the Coach). There is such an everyman quality about him. And the concern and love the nuns have for the boys in their care is really sweet. I found myself wanting to know more about them. The race is a great moment. And I absolutely loved the ending! It was perfect! See more Ray M @RT90892017 Mar 11 My wife and I saw this movie at the Frank Benko theater at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem PA. It's a fantastic movie that features many locations in the Lehigh Valley. I highly recommend you see it on the big screen. See more David V. @davidvoros Mar 4 Best all around movie of the year. See more Judy S @jshields60 Mar 4 This drama/comedy film brought to us by director, writer Daniel Roebuck is a film that will warm your soul, bring laughs, tears and several lessons to be learned. The actors portray wonderful characters and who doesn't like a story about high school football! For all those that went to a Catholic school will find fond memories while watching The Hail Mary. Don't miss this new recently released film in the movie theaters. See more Tim T @maque9 Mar 4 This feels less like a real movie and more like a vanity project. Daniel Roebuck wrote, directed, produced, and stars in it, and unfortunately you can feel that level of self-focus in every frame. There are a few decent moments, but most of the film is overlong, awkwardly paced, and technically rough. The editing drags, the sound is uneven, and the performances are hit or miss. The "faith-based" angle also feels more like branding than substance. The story is set around a Catholic school and was clearly promoted that way, but the movie itself never felt especially meaningful or spiritually deep to me. What really stands out is how much this production seems to rely on local goodwill, nonprofit fundraising, and hometown enthusiasm. That may make for a nice community story, but it does not automatically make for a good film. Overall, it feels indulgent, padded, and far more impressed with itself than I ever was. See more CE N @Cinderellen Mar 3 I absolutely loved this movie, as did my family. It's wonderfully written, acted, and filmed with that magic that films used to possess; full of challenges, hope, and victory with a lovely surprising twist. See more Read all reviews
