steve d A few laughs and a fun primes but it get old quick. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Freakin hilarious, I really enjoy putting this movie on when the holidays roll around (especially if someone hasn't seen it). Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a classic! I've watched "The Hebrew Hammer" several times over the years. Adam Goldberg reminds me of the guys I went to college with at the University of Maryland years ago, They were brilliant, sarcastic, sweet, incredibly funny & at same time so serious. I hope someday they make a sequel to Hammer - this world needs to lighten up & laugh at itself a whole lot more. Packed with brilliant parodies and jabs against Jewish culture, this blaxploitation parody is executed brilliantly. Adam Goldberg delivers a genius performance that is both funny and badass, a difficult combination. Although there aren't too many laugh-out-loud moments and there a few cheesy moments too cheesy for their own good, the film manages to consistently entertain. Roger Moore Orlando Sentinel Profane, shockingly un-PC and often laugh-out-loud hilarious, this is the sort of parody that the folks who made the Airplane and Naked Gun movies used to make -- funny. Rated: 3/5 Apr 29, 2004 Full Review Mark Jenkins Washington Post Desperation is the project's principal quality. Jan 30, 2004 Full Review Elizabeth Weitzman New York Daily News The movie hits as much as it misses, with enough witty observations to ensure that somewhere, Kesselman's mother is kvelling. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 2, 2004 Full Review Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies Twenty years after its premiere, The Hebrew Hammer is a cult comedy classic and one of the best Chanukah movies ever made. Rated: 5/5 Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn There's nothing that Andy Dick is even doing with his appearance to resemble Santa Claus...
