Penelope Y The film centres on Costner’s character, a hired former lawman tasked with tracking down the infamous Bonnie and Clyde. I found it thoroughly enjoyable thanks to its solid casting, well-crafted script, and compelling storytelling. The tension builds as they follow clues and close in on the notorious outlaws, making the chase truly exciting. If you appreciate history, gripping narratives, and strong performances, The Highwaymen is a must-watch. Now all he is missing is a film where he takes down John Dillinger, and Costner will have single handedly dealt with all the classic American criminals. Don't go into this film expecting an action film, it is not a big shootout type movie. It is a drama. And that does lead to a lot of scenes just sitting around and talking. Thankfully, Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner work well off each other. I figured I better write this review quick, because the memories of this film are already fading away.
