It's a great documentary. Shows what our military goes through. Reporter risks his life to be able to film and show civilians of what happens out there. I totally recommend watching it, it's a good eye opener.

The Hornets Nest comes with incredible footage of real-time warzones, and respectfully pays tribute to the courageous soldiers who participate in them. However, at times the documentary feels inauthentic, and dare-I-say-it, a little self-serving towards the reporter who filmed it.

Really an outstanding look at what our military has to endure in its mission in Afghanistan. I will say that Mr. Boettcher doesn't miss an opportunity to show himself. More voice over and less "look at me" would have been good. But again it is certainly worth the watch.
