The acting, as well as Andrew Niccol's writing and direction, are all awful; I can't in good conscience recommend that anyone see this film. Go to Full Review

Three bodies plus four minds is some fertile arithmetic, but The Host can't be bothered with the intellectual or kinky ramifications of its setup. Go to Full Review

I did enjoy the film and despite its short comings in the story department I can recommend it to anyone who is willing to watch a film based on a book by the author of the Twilight Saga... you know who you are. Go to Full Review

Michael D. @Darnell747 Dec 4 What a god-awful movie. Please do not waste your time. The acting is atrocious. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. See more Celina A Nov 24 I wish people knew more about the aspect of the movie than anything else. People weren’t suppose to like this movie because they were afraid. And, maybe it was rigged and you won’t ever because of the rating. But, I loved this movie. I can relate to it, honestly. It was bad because it was related to the people you weren’t ever use to. And will never be use to. Please, realize what this movie is about. If you don’t, you’re just doubting the truth. If you do, then you know what to do. See more thiago s @Thiagostone Nov 18 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Ayanna M Sep 13 This was unwatchable. I don't think there's really anything else to say. See more Alex R Aug 31 Love the story line, plot, and especially the love between The wanderer and Ian. Perfect combo of suspense and Sci-fi See more Paul S Aug 21 This movie felt like they tried to retell the story of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but spin it in a way that made the aliens benevolent. This is the most boring alien invasion movie I've ever seen, and about halfway through, I completely lost interest in anything that was happening. It had some impressive visuals, but that is the only good thing I can say about this movie. See more Read all reviews
