The Human Centipede 2 plays like a bizarre, failed hybrid of Eraserhead’s unsettling art-house ambitions and Braindead’s over-the-top gore — except it achieves neither. The performances are flat, the pacing glacial, and the direction aims for disturbing artistry but lands squarely in tedious monotony. Even fans of extreme violence will find it starkly dull and utterly unengaging. A grotesque concept poorly executed.

Throws in as many sick things as it can, so you can guarantee to feel squeamish at least once. Not pleasant at all and will repulse most. If you like the grotesque, you’ll like this.
