Audience Member In this low budget Invasion of the Body Snatcher rip off, an alien tries to clone important people to take over the world. It's cheesy but the cinematography is not bad for a low budget film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow sci-fi thriller that doesn't do enough with its premise. Misused cast, bland effects, and lackluster action. Forgettable, simple. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Really, the only thing I noticed about the movie is that the scientist's blind daughter has boobs. Which is both funny and sad, considering the most revealing thing she wore showed her collarbones. This movie is boring. Richard Kiel's droning and dull voice doesn't help in the slightest. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty silly alien cloning movie starring Jaws of James Bond fame. Terrifically funny MST3K episode, too. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The Human Duplicators. What would seem at first glance to be a film about the moral and ethical complications with making humanoid robots, ends up being a boring trod through a "detective movie" without any suspense and so little twist. I'm afraid to even call it a detective movie, due to its incredibly vague plot and characters. Synopsis: An alien comes to earth and tries to make an army of androids with the help of an android copy of a famous cybernetics scientist, and a detective(?) and the scientist's blind niece have to stop them (with lasers). It doesn't help that their army of super powerful robots have delicate faces made from thin ceramic and a simple stage light (laser) can destroy them almost instantly. Will the androids take over? Will the ill professor escape his prison in time to save his life? Will the blind woman fall in love with the alien? Does anyone care? Only from the help of Joel Robinson, Crow T. Robot, and Sir Thomas Neville Servo (MST3K) was this movie remotely bearable. Even then, it takes its toll. 1/2 star. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Notable for starring Richard Kiel ("Jaws" from The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker) in an actual speaking role. But... it's a pretty lousy film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
