This is a character based drama film I'd say, a corporate one at that, with somewhat quirky characters. It has a bit of a humdrum feel to it (I guess its subtle in tone) for the most part. There are a number of sub plots present. I thought it was interesting seeing Penelope Cruz as a somewhat cutthroat businesswoman. As I said, its a pretty corporate film in a sense, although, interestingly, the film is partly set in a rural area. It has a human aspect to it, with the health issues that one of the main characters has, that he's reluctant to speak out about. Its sad but good, particularly towards the end, when it becomes poignant. Jesse Eisenberg gives a good performance in this film and yes, I'd recommend this film to others.

Entertaining enough. You really feel like you're going on the journey with the two main characters. The end is kinda sad and a tad lackluster. Regardless, this was a well done drama and something I would watch in the future.

This movie had a premise that sounds promising and I was looking forward to watching it. 30 minutes in and it felt like I was watching a disjointed, confused, and indecisive college student's film. The director needed to pick a lane and run with it. Instead it was mush of plot ideas decorated with some decent, but not stellar, acting. I'd like my 2 hrs back.

While I recognize that Jesse Eisenberg is a good actor, I don't like the characters he plays (conniving, know-it-alls) and I grow a bit weary of them. This was another instance of that sort of story. Despite that the movie was okay, but not great. Alexander Skarsgård and Salma Hayek filled their roles well.
