Osvaldo Adolfo R Giving the hunchback a girlfriend was a nice change, but the movie itself feels like a cartoon that makes you nostalgic and takes you to the world of Disney. The movie did have the same charm as the first one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/27/24 Full Review Dale R Quasimodo falls in love during a plot to steal one of Notre Dame’s most prized bells. One of the reasons I love the first movie was that Quasi didn’t get the girl at the end of the movie. Creating a character for him to fall in love with didn’t work for me. They set up that Madellaine, the love interest, is treated similarly to what Quasi went through in the original film. But they never bonded because of that, instead focusing on the “look for the person on the inside” troupe. I liked the continuation of Esmeralda and Phoebus’ relationship, now as parents. The plot to steal a bell, one that wouldn’t be made to begin with, seemed dumb to me. The music is forgettable, though performed well. The background animation didn’t capture Paris or Notre Dame Cathedral like the original did and some of the distance animation of the characters didn’t look right. If you’re curious check this movie out. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Nathan B Whispering, Listen to Paras, kiss a goat, vomit at first sight Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Kieran Q Fuck this INSALT! 👎🏾👎🏾🖕🖕 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/11/23 Full Review Kickstarter N Suddenly, Frollo winning doesn't seem all that bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/23 Full Review Furienna It managed to touch my heart in a way, that a lot of other supposedly better movies didn't. So maybe it has one flaw or two too many to make me call it a masterpiece, but Quasimodo and Madellaine are Disney's most underrated couple in my opinion.
