      Simon T Or 'The Stranger In Between' is a tight little 50s thriller about a murderer on the run with a young six year-old. And that's the plot. They move from South London via the smoke stacks of the North, and finally a Scottish fishing village, surviving on raw eggs, carrots and Woodbines. Of most interest for the quirks and views of ration book Britain, a good early performance by Dirk Bogarde, and some fine B&W cinematography.
