Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News This hysterical, over-the-top thriller takes the exhausted-beyond-all-belief plot device about twin sisters for a spin, and the result is a bumpy ride from start to finish. Rated: 2.5/4 May 8, 2024 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian The ripe naffness on show makes it somehow entertaining, especially as you can tell the film knows it’s naff. Rated: 2/5 May 8, 2024 Full Review Jenn Adams Strong Female Antagonist There are gigantic plot holes and an extremely contrived conclusion, but it’s a ballsy swing and Fisher nearly pulls it off. He’s counting on us relaxing into the unreality and not really caring if the story makes any sense. Rated: C+ May 17, 2024 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall The plot is so deranged that we can't help but enjoy the increasingly frenzied nastiness, even if the suspense doesn't quite grab hold. Rated: 3/5 May 15, 2024 Full Review Andy Klein FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It's fairly tense, but more or less a by-the-numbers thriller. May 15, 2024 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT The Image of You will not be the start of a resurgence of erotic thrillers, but it does stand out in today’s more sterile cinematic landscape. It is the type of entertaining fluff there is not enough of anymore. May 11, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member It was sooooo good to see Sasha Pieterse after her role in Pretty Little Liars. I'm usually pretty good at guessing endings before they happen, but this one really kept me out of the loop until the very end. The film score was incredible, the directing was beautiful, and it was seamless how they had Sasha play both characters in multiple scenes. It gets pretty steamy though, so I'd avoid it if you're squeamish with nudity/sex. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/06/24 Full Review Natasha B Between the Gucci sponsorship that has a bigger role than 99% of the characters, the ‘obvious’ thrills and lack of any sort of sophistication, I barely got through the movie. Not recommended at all. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Natalie O Wellll, that’s an hour and a half of my life I’ll never get back. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Audience Member The image of someone who looks like you alone is amazing but also very deadly Jeff Fisher directs Sasha Pieterse of 'Pretty Little Liars' fame in dual roles 31 years ago identical twins Anna and Zoe were born as a rarity Cut to present day one of them ends up dead; but we flash to sometime earlier when both of them were alive at the same time Zoe is an actress and Anna is looking for romance even though her sister finds it dull and boring believing lying is the foundation of every relationship Anna falls for a guy Nick but digging into his past unravels a tale of desire and deception The film is expertly shot and Pieterse does an amiable job playing twin sisters The twist ending is definitely something truly twisted in its own right It almost plays like a straight up lifetime thriller although there are gaping plot holes you can't help but notice It's quite over the top no doubt with the kooky music, erotic vibe, and comic book like editing It doesn't have to make sense 100% but a thriller like this hits the mark for pure entertainment with Sasha Pieterse in the lead Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/01/24 Full Review Katie J So bad. Don’t waste your money on this. The acting is awful and the plot is 90% predictable Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/15/24 Full Review Read all reviews
